Competition time! Know where this photo was taken?

Malone Lodge has been completely rejuvenated, revamped, re-jigged and remodelled and to celebrate we want to reward you!

This month we have a fabulous competition for a one-night stay in one of our brand-new sumptuous suites, complete with a mouth-watering dinner in our gorgeous Grill and Deli and we’ll even throw in a beautiful bottle of bubbly to round off your lovely evening!

All you have to do is guess where the bride is hiding, looking stunning in a simple yet classic gown – she has decided to take a magical mystery tour for her wedding photos. Can you guess her choice of photo location? Study the photos carefully and try to piece together any bits of evidence that might point you in the direction of winning our gorgeous prize.

Wedding photos can often be a cause for heated conversation; what to choose? Leafy glades or edgy cityscapes? Why not choose both!

Malone Lodge is ideally located in the tree-lined Victorian Streets of Belfast. The area is full of gardens and parks that offer a wide range of marvellous settings, but also located close to the city centre: it’s perfect for any wedding album.

Perfect Pictures – You’re Spoilt For Choice!

A little over a mile from the front door of Malone Lodge you will find the wonderful woodlands and wildflower meadows of Barnett Demesne. Beautiful at any time of the year but particularly special in spring when the park is awash with the yellow haze of daffodils.

The ever-popular Botanic Gardens are within walking distance of the Hotel. These gardens are a treat for any plant lover but the real gems are in the palm houses, these elegant Victorian curvilinear glasshouses create a timeless backdrop to any wedding portrait.

One mile away in South Belfast you will find Musgrave Park another parkland paradise that features a gorgeous mosaic wall and many idyllic woodland walks. Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park located nearby, is home to Belfast’s international Rose Garden, which contains over 20,000 blooms in the summer. For the more quirky approach, you could also try the Titanic Visitor Centre and fill your album with iconic images of that historic ship.

Whatever you choose, we recommend you do your research before the big day. If the weather is not on your side there is a beautiful fireplace in the study at Malone Lodge Hotel which provides an elegant backdrop for wedding portraits. Feel free to ask our advice we’d be more than happy to help.
