Spring in Belfast
Visiting Belfast this Spring? The weather’s getting warmer and let those longer days entice to get out and explore Belfast this Springtime.
Here’s our recommended activities for a spring visit:
Meet our friendly reception team and let them kick start your visit, by booking you a Black Taxi Tour. Learn about Northern Ireland’s unique history from a local, take in the sights and get a sense of the cityscape.
Make it a Titanic afternoon. Titanic Belfast is still a firm favourite; take time after visiting to check out the SS Nomadic, HMS Caroline and stroll down the meandering River Lagan.
Unwind and enjoy bistro style dining and a good night’s sleep at the Malone Lodge hotel.
Seize the day, with an early start and follow that Spring air to the North Coast.
Drive along the famous Causeway Coast, where one stunning site leads to another, from the craggy castle ruins of Dunluce Castle to the pale sands of Whiterocks Beach. Your main attraction for the day: the Giants Causeway. It’s an epic sight, every time, with a whopping 40,000 or so of these hexagonal-shaped pillars.
It's just 90 minutes drive from the hotel and we’ll be happy to prepare a packed lunch for the journey.
Enjoy a late breakfast and stay close by to explore the best or Belfast’s Queen’s Quarter.
The botanical gardens are in easy walking distance from the Malone Lodge Hotel and spring means they will be in full bloom! Spend time in this tranquil spot, don’t let Belfast spring showers put you off, you can always take shelter in the museum next door. The Ulster Museum offers something for art lovers, history buffs, excited children, and the curious. Let their collections take you across Ireland and beyond to all corners of the globe.
